Many of you already registered for the Schleck Gran Fondo 2021.
To be sure that we can hold the event under the current conditions, we must close the registrations for the 25th of September.


We couldn’t race the 2020 edition due to the pandemic, but we are doing all we can to get back stronger in 2021! We are lookinfg forward to meet you for the Schleck Gran Fondo 2021 on September 25th.
If you already registered, your bib number will be automatically transfered for the race in September. You have nothing to do, just to train until then!

A mass cycling event for old champions and new, for all the occasional riders and those fans, who are in it just for the fun – all of this and more is the spirit of the Schleck Gran Fondo.

We are determined to implement any health measures imposed by the government authorities at the time of the 2021 event. We will treat any such measures as a further organizational challenge.

Please note:
For any person wishing to take part in the Schleck Gran Fondo, it is compulsory to present to the Organizer a CovidCheck certificate (EU Digital COVID Certificate – EU DCC) in digital or printed form.

The CovidCheck certificate is a proof that the registered user:

has been vaccinated against COVID-19
– The vaccination certificate is valid in case of 2 doses :
• from the day of the 2nd dose
• from the 14th day after the 1st dose in case of recovery within 6 months of an infection
– In case of 1 dose, from the 14th day after the vaccination.

received a negative COVID-19 test result
– PCR test valid for 72 hours
– Rapid antigen test valid for 48 hours

recovered from COVID-19
– The recovery certificate is valid between the 11th and 180th day after the date of the result of the positive PCR test.

To ensure that the QR code on the CovidCheck certificates is readable, always present either the digital document (PDF) or the original on paper, avoiding photos or photocopies.

We recommend checking your certificate by using the mobile application to verify the authenticity and validity of the certificates according to the rules in place in Luxembourg. Your vaccination certificate is not saved on this app.


All participants who clear the CovidCheck will receive a bracelet that authorizes to gain access to the event area.  
Gran Fondo Village
• Wear a mask while walking 
• Apply hand sanitizer before entering the area
• Eat and drink while seated
• Respect the traffic flow and social distancing according to the signs
• Showers, changing rooms and baggage drop-off stay closed
Starting Area  
• Wear a mask and remove it when told by the speaker 
• Put your mask in your jersey pocket
• Control of the Covid bracelet and your bib number while entering the starting area
Feed Zones 
• Disinfect your hands
• When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with your arm 
• Avoid physical contact  
Finish Point 
• After crossing the finish line, wear a mask and disinfect your hands 
• Avoid handshakes and hugs 
• Avoid gatherings
